Data Protection Declaration


We gather, use and save your personal data exclusively within the scope of the regulations of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) of the Federal Republic of Germany. Information on the manner, extent and purpose of data collection and use is given below.

Gathering and processing data

All access to our website and any retrieval of files stored on the website are recorded. This storage is internal system-related and for statistical purposes: name of the retrieved file, date and time of the retrieval, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, web browser and domain requested. In addition, the IP addresses of the requesting computers will be recorded. Additional personal data will only be collected if the website user and/or customer give them voluntarily as part of a request or registration, or for the conclusion of a contract, or give them away via the browser settings. Our website uses cookies. A cookie is a text file that is dispatched and cached on the website user’s and/or customer’s hard drive when a website is visited. If the corresponding servers on our website are called up again by the website user and/or customer, the website user’s and/or customer’s browser sends the previously received cookie back to the server. With this procedure, the server can analyze different types of information. With cookies things like advertising inserts can be managed, or website navigation can be made easier. If the website user and/or customer wishes to prevent the use of cookies, this can be done by locally carrying out changes to the browser settings on the computer being used, i.e. the program for opening and displaying websites (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera or Safari).

Using and passing on personal data

If the user of our website has made personal data available, we will only use this to answer the website user’s and/or customer’s queries, processing contracts concluded with the website user and/or customer and for technical administration. We will only pass on or otherwise transfer personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the purpose of processing a contract or for settlements, or if the website user and/or customer has previously consented. The website user and/or customer has the right to revoke previously granted consent with future effect, at any time. Deletion of stored personal data takes place if the website user and/or customer revokes consent for storage, if the fulfilment of the purpose for which the data is stored is no longer required or if the storage is not permissible for other legal reasons. Data for billing purposes and bookkeeping purposes is not affected by a deletion request. On the instruction of the responsible departments, we may, in exceptional circumstances, disclose information about this data (inventory data), as long is this is necessary to fulfill the legal tasks of the constitution protection authorities or military counterintelligence or to enforce intellectual property law.

Right to information

Upon written request, we inform the website user and/or customer about any personal data of theirs that has been stored. The request should be directed to the address given on the imprint on our website.

Use of the Facebook “like button”

Our website uses the Facebook “like button” from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, hereinafter referred to simply as “Facebook”. The Facebook “like button” is marked with the Facebook logo, i.e. a letter “f”. When you call up one of our websites that contains the Facebook “like button”, your browser makes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transferred from Facebook directly to your browser and integrated into the website. When the plugin is integrated, Facebook receives the information that you have called up on the respective page of our website. When you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can associate the visit with your Facebook account. When you click the “like button” or leave a comment, the corresponding information is transferred from your browser directly to Facebook and saved there. The purpose and the extent of the data collection and further processing and use of the data by Facebook and your related rights and configuration options for protecting your privacy can be found in Facebook’s data protection notice. If you do not want Facebook to gather data via our website, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.

Google Analytics

Our website uses the analysis service from Google Analytics. This web analysis service is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter referred to simply as Google). This analysis tool works based on cookies. A cookie is a text file, which is dispatched and cached on the website user’s and/or customer’s hard drive in order to enable an analysis of your use of the website when the website is visited. The information which is stored by the cookie is generally transferred to a server in the USA and stored there. As part of the IP-anonymization, your IP address within a member state of the EU or another contracting state of the European Economic Area Agreement will be reduced beforehand. In our order, Google will use the transferred information to create a report about the use of the website. The IP address transferred as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.
